NOTHING LIKE CLOTHES ON A LINE

I would rather have my cloths dried on a line then a dryer any day.

OK, can you say “Hillbilly?” I thought you could!

Seriously folks, my grandmother refused to use a dryer. My mother always used a clothesline when the weather was good, probably cause it was cheaper than firing up the dryer (it was). Our neighbor had a big set of clothes lines we got to use. And it looked just like your picture! If I lived on a hilltop away from all civilization “off the grid” I would, too!

As electricity prices goes up I think clotheslines will be making a come-back. I think we will feel the effect of the new “Smart Grid” system and you receive a added charge in your bill because you used more power then you should have. Trust me, it is coming. Google about it.

put out directions to your house, so that when we all DON’T have power, we know where to come.
