Below is why I was disqualified from the Axe Men TV series. It took a wild turn and went backwards then made a right turn straight into the crook of another tree. No need to even mention it is crossing the stream. It may be there for years.

from the look of the cut, it is not what I would of expected either. hmmmmm. looks like the darn tree twisted after it was cut. From where I am looking, it looks notched out ok.
It’s hard to tell from the picture but from the base it had tilt to the rear then leaned forward. I knew it was not going to be easy and I was ready for an odd fall. I just didn’t expect it to catch in the other tree. I laid down another one later on and it went just fine. That log splitter sure is nice though.
